General

Corporate governance refers to the framework and structure established to govern and manage the activities of a limited liability company in an efficient and controlled manner. The aim of corporate governance is to meet the shareholders' requirements for returns and all stakeholders' need for information about the limited company and its development. The basis for the Company's governance includes the articles of association, the Swedish Companies Act, Nasdaq First North's Market Rulebook for Issuers of shares and internal rules and regulations. The Swedish Corporate Governance Code (the "Code") is not mandatory for companies listed on Nasdaq First North and the Company does not intend to fully comply with the Code. However, the Company may choose to act in accordance with the Code in certain parts. AegirBio AB's financial year follows the calendar year.
